This is a temple that I’ve been wanting to visit for the longest time and as you can see from the photos, it didn’t disappoint!
It is a beautiful temple in Busan that is situated on some rocks along the ocean.
We visited it on Childrens day, which probably wasn’t the best time to visit as there were so many people there!
It is also 3 weeks until Buddahs birthday so they were beginning to decorate the temple for this festive event. Which meant that there were metal bars and rope everywhere. (It made taking photos pretty difficult)
The best time to visit this temple is probably around Buddahs Birthday as the temple is decorated with thousands of lanterns that light up at night. I have seen some photos and it looks so beautiful!
It is free to enter the temple and it is only 2,000w for parking nearby. There are tons of food and souvenir stalls that you’d be forgiven for thinking that you were in South East Asia!
Inside the temple there are many cute little Buddha statues.
There are also some beautiful stone figures, a stone pagoda and a beautiful gold Buddha.
It is a beautiful temple and well worth the visit.
We drove there but you can take a taxi there from Haeundae beach for about 5,000w.
It is very near Songjeong beach which is one of my favourites in Busan so afterwards we took a stroll along the beach and enjoyed some delicious pancakes!
